National Leadership Council - NLC

What is the National Leadership Council?
The National Leadership Council (NLC) is a multi-year servant leadership program, dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, leadership qualities, and a service perspective on life. In the process, NLC is developing a core group of young people who will be active in church, DiscoveryBound chapters, at CS camps, and throughout the country and world demonstrating the efficacy of Christian Science in personal, educational, and career pursuits. "Our watchwords are Truth and Love; and if we abide in these, they will abound in us, and we shall be one in heart, — one in motive, purpose, pursuit." –Mis. 135:5-7
The NLC provides opportunities for young people to discover and explore their interests, values, and talents in a spiritual atmosphere. Teens will experience programs that help them deepen their relationship with God, activities that stress the healing effectiveness of Christian Science, leadership training built on a Biblical model of service to God and mankind, and leadership opportunities at the local, national, and international levels.
