Those enrolled in the National Leadership Council learn and put into practice foundational leadership skills, grow spiritually alongside their friends and develop a love of service to mankind. Though students spend much of the program staying in touch remotely, there are two opportunities for them to come together each year.

DB NLC Alumni Service Trip @ Catalina Island Conservancy
May 25 – May 29 all-day

The NLC Alumni Initiative’s 2017 Memorial Day volunteer trip is on Catalina Island off of the coast of Los Angeles, California!  We will be working alongside The Catalina Nature Conservancy to maintain trails, recover from The Catalina Fire of 2007, foster the growth of native plants, and enjoy the beauty that Catalina has to offer.

Being a part of NLC has sincerely changed me as a person. The program is so inspiring and makes we want to study Christian Science and helps me to gain a deeper understanding. The love and support that NLC has brought to my life is so comforting.
