Paul Needham
Paul Needham has dedicated his career to education, student development, and leadership formation. He honed his expertise in emotional support as a teacher in Los Angeles and later when he served in student affairs at Principia College.
He has both an MA in English and an MBA in strategic management from Southern Illinois University, as well as an executive leadership certificate through Oxford University’s Saïd Business School. All of his coursework has shaped his collaborative leadership style and his ideas on leadership development. In his roles in student affairs at Principia College, Paul applied his leadership skills and guided student leaders through triumphs and challenges, both leading to interpersonal growth and an understanding of resilience. As a visiting professor in educational studies at Principia College, Paul explored literacy, curriculum, and educational theories, all of which reinforced his understanding of how students learn both inside and outside the classroom.
In his personal life, Paul is a sports enthusiast (especially in golf), an experienced traveler who has led students abroad, and a lifelong writer. He is currently working on three writing projects: a parenting guide, a cozy crime novel set in Cornwall, England, and a literary exploration of a washed-up actor’s inner world. Rooted in a love for Christian Science and leadership, Paul continues to seek opportunities where education, personal growth, and community engagement intersect.
