DB SuperNova Group invites you to Earth Treks Columbia – ROCK CLIMBING

When:  Saturday, September 25th 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. EST

Where:  7125 Columbia Gateway Dr. #110 Columbia, MD 21046

WHO:  For all AGES
Earth Treks Columbia quadrupled in size to 27,000 square feet of climbing terrain. They are the largest bouldering area in the state and plenty of gathering spaces perfect for lounging between climbs.

You will hear more about DiscoveryBound and its activities for all ages

COST – $10 per person, or $15 per family (subsidized by the SuperNova Group!  If you need further financial aid just ask.
Transportation:  The SuperNova Group will have a van leaving from McClean Church at 12:00 p.m. If you need a ride from other locations, let Lissa know ASAP.

ALL- AGES Florida Fall Event – Registration is NOW open!

Come join DiscoveryBound Outreach in the beautiful outdoors for a day at Fort De Soto Park in Tierra Verde, Florida. This is a wonderful opportunity to discover the natural beauty of the park while being with other Christian Scientists and friends at the beach, kayaking, biking while in an uplifting atmosphere. We will have a private pavilion, serve a delicious lunch and hear from an inspirational speaker. Everyone is invited to explore the scenic water views and award-winning beach – you won’t want to miss this fun event and the opportunity to meet new friends.

Metaphysical Theme:
“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.”  (Luke 10:27)

All-Ages – CS families, 20s/30s, adults, and your friends of all faiths
(all youth must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)

Registration financial aid is available for all participants and for those families that are traveling from afar and need lodging.
For those families that are traveling from afar and need financial aid for lodging we are offering up to $75.00 per family.  Financial Aid is available up to 1/2 of the registration fee per person. Deposit a minimum of $10

DB Four Seasons Book Club

We’re excited to announce our quarterly virtual book club for all adults! Tuesday, November 9th at 8:30pm EDT/ 7:30pm CDT / 6:30pm MDT / 5:30pm PDT will be our first one!

The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown, will be our first book. 
It’s the bestselling true story about the University of Washington rowing team and their thrilling challenges and sacrifices in the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
