CANCELLED Jetty Park All-Ages Kayaking/Camping Weekend in Cape Canaveral
As of today, March 18, Adventure Unlimited (including DiscoveryBound) is stopping all work travel and in-person events until April 1st. At that time we will determine if additional steps need to be taken for the month of April. This means that our DB Annual Jetty Park weekend is canceled. I got a call from Jetty Park campground today (March 18th) and they are closing starting tomorrow at noon until further notice. We have been working with the following citation from II Timothy, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
Here is a possible alternative activity for our Jetty Park Weekend canceled event:
Challenge for you: Bring Jetty Park Home! Send us a photo or short video of a beach or camping activity (ie. S’mores, tenting in your backyard) with your family and/or small group of friends to share on DiscoveryBound social media. Text to Lori Selby at 781-956-9035.
Please know that we are still planning and registering for future inspiring and fun events to take place this year. The DiscoveryBound Outreach team will assess the current situation on a regular basis.
Check out our upcoming weekend events:
I want to thank our DiscoveryBound Florida Groups (DB Tampa, DB Southeast FL, DB Central Florida, DB Jacksonville) for their support of this event! Help us spread the word to those that were interested in attending!
Please feel free to reach out to me with further questions. We certainly appreciate your flexibility during this time. We look forward to seeing you at Jetty Park next year!
“A calm, Christian state of mind is a better preventative of contagion than a drug, or than any other possible sanative method; and the “perfect Love” that “casteth out fear” is a sure defense.” (Miscellaneous Writings p. 229:24)
With Love, Lori Selby

Postponed to Spring 2021
Join us at Crystal Lake Camps, the Christian Science camp located in Hughesville, Pennsylvania, for a weekend of fun camp activities!
We’ll enjoy waterfront activities such as canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and maybe even swimming for those brave enough to dive in; we will venture up the High Ropes Course and Climbing Wall; play a round or two of 8 Sticks (a CLC classic, kind of like capture the flag); and explore some of the 25 miles of trails.
During this weekend, we’ll have time to relax, get to know one-another, enjoy the peaceful and quiet atmosphere of Crystal Lake, and engage in metaphysical discussion.
