There is a little hut at the bottom of the hill where you can warm up and purchase hot beverages and snacks or just bring your own.

Join DiscoveryBound teens (grades 7-12) in the Berkshires for two full days of inspiration, fun, and friendship. There’ll be skiing/snowboarding at Jiminy Peak or snow tubing at Bousquet on Saturday and our very own DB Winter Olympics on Lake Pontoosuc the following day. Stay in condos overlooking Jiminy Peak and enjoy an evening with an inspirational speaker, huge indoor swimming pool and hot tub. There will be time for hanging out with friends – old and new . Most of all, it’s a chance for CS discussion with teens who think like you, with the support of an awesome team of chaperones coming to be with us… so don’t miss it!

Guest Speaker – Lona Ingwerson is a Christian Science practitioner from Laguna Beach, California. She is a life-long Christian Scientist, and a former member of the Board of Lectureship. She has served on the Board of Directors of Adventure Unlimited for 23 years. Prior to entering the public practice of Christian Science she was an actress, having appeared in motion pictures, on stage, in radio and on television. She had her own radio and television shows and has a master’s degree in Dramatic Arts. Lona’s family are all active in Christian Science. Husband Don, formerly the Superintendent of the Los Angeles County Office of Education is a Journal listed Christian Science practitioner and COP for Southern California; son Marshall is the Editor of the Christian Science Monitor at this given moment, but has resigned to take the position of Chief Executive of the Principia, daughters Heidi and Tanya each teach in the Christian Science Sunday School and their spouses are equally active in their local branch churches. Lona has been published in the Christian Science periodicals 58 times.

We will be staying in the gorgeous D6 Retreat in Dripping Spring, Texas. The retreat is located 45 minutes from Central Austin, 2.5 hours from Dallas, and 3.5 hours from Houston. The closest airport is the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

You’ll have the option of skiing/snowboarding at Monarch Mountain, snowshoeing around the beautiful A/U Ranches, lounging at the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, playing games by a warm fire in Valerie Lodge, and many more exciting activities.

- Snowshoeing through the backwoods of the A/U Ranches property
- Spend the day at the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs, relaxing and playing in their pools and natural hot springs

If flying:
-Arrive at Denver International Airport (DEN) no later than 2:00PM on Thursday, January 11th. If you arrive after 2:00 PM, you will be responsible for your own transportation to the A/U Ranches. There is a bus that drives from Denver to Buena Vista once per day.
-Depart DIA no earlier than 2PM on Monday, January 15th. If you have TSA Pre-Check clearance, you are welcome to book your flight no earlier than 1:30 PM. Any participants flying earlier than 1:30 pm. on January 15th, will be responsible for their own transportation to the airport. There is a bus that drives from Buena Vista to Denver once per day.
If driving:
-Arrive at A/U Ranches between 4:30-5:30 PM. Parking is available at no additional charge.
-Depart from A/U Ranches between 9AM and 10AM.

TEEN FINANCIAL AID:
Please don’t let the cost keep you from attending. If you need to apply for financial aid, you will have the opportunity to do so during your registration. Financial awards can be up to 1/2 of the registration fee and additional aid is available for those flying to the event, up to $150. (Financial aid is NOT available for lift tickets and rental gear.) If there is additional aid needed to attend the weekend, please contact us – we do not want finances to prevent you from attending.
If the financial aid amount you’ve been granted does not meet your financial needs for this event and you choose to cancel your registration, you need to notify DiscoveryBound Outreach within 48 hours of being notified of the amount granted. If cancelling, you will be refunded your deposit with the exception of a $20 cancellation fee. After the 48 hours, if you need to cancel for any reason, you will need to return any financial aid amount you received towards travel costs.
CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS:
Refunds, less a $75 cancellation fee, will be given to participants cancelling by December 28, 2017. No refunds will be given after December 28.
Full Refunds for lift tickets and rentals if notified on or before January 12, 2018.

Getting There
The house is an 1.5 hour drive from Boston. You can fly into Logan International Airport or Manchester-Boston Regional Airport. If you plan on flying in, please arrive Friday by 4pm and depart Sunday earliest 3pm. Please be in contact ASAP about flight information, since it will require additional coordination to make work. We will be arranging carpools for those who need it. On the Google Form at the bottom of this page is an area where you can list if you are in need of a carpool or willing to drive others.

We will be staying in a mansion 9 miles from the Gunstock Mountain Resort. Bed priority will be given to those who sign up first.

Come join us for a Spring Teen Weekend in Atlanta, Georgia! The weekend is for 7-12th grade Christian Scientists and their friends of all faiths. We will be staying at Stone Mountain Inn where we will be able to enjoy some of their activities on property like morning easy hike with great views, summit skyride, swimming, an afternoon trip into Atlanta with lunch at Centennial Olympic Park and the Skyview Atlanta ferris wheel, exploring MLK’s The King Center and an evening BBQ with a laser show.
$150 this covers all activities/lodging and meals from Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch
(There is financial aid available – up to $75 towards the registration fee, and if anyone is flying to the event, up to an additional $150 for air travel.)
Saturday Morning:
Stone Mountain – short walking/hiking trail
Summit Skyride – high-speed Swiss cable car provides a stunning view of the Confederate Memorial Carving as it transports guests more than 825 feet above ground to the top of Stone Mountain. From the top, experience amazing views of the Atlanta skyline, the Appalachian Mountains and more up to 60 miles away.
Saturday Afternoon: Head to the city of Atlanta and enjoy a few of Atlanta’s activities:
Lunch at Centennial Olympic Park – legacy of the 1996 Olympic Games and the center of a thriving tourist district.
Skyview Atlanta Ferris Wheel: -Towering nearly 20 stories above Centennial Park, the SkyView Ferris wheel features 42 climate-controlled gondolas providing guests with breathtaking panoramic views of downtown Atlanta and the surrounding metropolitan area.
The King Center – Historical Landmark – Nonprofit center exhibiting Martin Luther King related photos & artifacts, plus rooms on Gandhi & Rosa Parks.
Saturday Later Afternoon – hang out at the pool and swim
Saturday Night: Outdoor BBQ & The Lasershow Spectacular in Mountainvision® is a not-to-be-missed Atlanta tradition that will wow your family with state-of-the-art digital graphics and awe-inspiring effects. The Lasershow features lights, iconic music, lasers and epic fireworks. Plus, three flame cannons add a punch to the show by sending a trio of flames nearly one-hundred feet into the air.

TEEN FINANCIAL AID:
Please don’t let the cost keep you from attending. If you need to apply for financial aid, you will have the opportunity to do so during your registration. Financial awards can be up to 1/2 of the registration fee and additional aid is available for those flying to the event, up to $150. If there is additional aid needed to attend the weekend, please contact us – we do not want finances to prevent you from attending.
(If the financial aid amount you are granted does not meet your financial needs for this event and you choose to cancel your registration, you need to notify DiscoveryBound Outreach within 48 hours of being notified of the amount granted. If cancelling, you will be refunded your deposit with the exception of a $20 cancellation fee. After the 48 hours, if you need to cancel for any reason, you will need to return any financial aid amount you received towards travel costs.)
CANCELLATION/REFUNDS:
Refunds, less a $75 cancellation fee, will be given to participants cancelling by April 6. No refunds will be given after April 6.

Join Ohio’s DiscoveryBound Outreach Chapters for a fun fall celebration! We’ll get started with games and inspiration, then enjoy Ramseyer Farms’s activities which includes 2 giant corn mazes, scenic hayrides, a corn crib chute, pedal carts, covered wagon train, a spud slinger and much more. You won’t want to miss this great kick-off to the fall!

WHAT: Join DiscoveryBound teens (grades 7–12) and their friends of all faiths in the Berkshires for two full days of inspiration, fun, and friendship. There’ll be skiing/snowboarding at Jiminy Peak or snow tubing at Bousquet on Saturday and our very own DB Winter Olympics on Lake Pontoosuc the following day. Stay in condos overlooking Jiminy Peak and enjoy an evening with an inspirational speaker, huge indoor swimming pool and hot tub. There will be time for hanging out with friends – old and new. Most of all, it’s a chance for CS discussion with teens who think like you, with the support of an awesome team of chaperones coming to be with us… so don’t miss it!

Come join us for a cozy family weekend at the A/U Ranches! This is a wonderful opportunity to relax and have fun while enjoying the company of other Christian Science families and friends. Take part in sledding, broom hockey, climbing in the Rock Gym, horseback riding, games and cards in the lodge and much more. Even if you have a good book you are trying to finish, bring it along and enjoy reading by the fire. Feel free to do as few or as many activities as you want, but come be a part of the fun!
WHEN: Friday, March 1 – Sunday, March 3, 2019
WHERE: A/U Ranches, Buena Vista, CO
WHO: Christian Science families, 20s/30s, adults, and their friends of all faiths. This is not a teen only weekend. There will be no chaperones provided and families will be housed in cabins. There will also be 20s/30s and adult cabins by gender.
COST: $69 per person (included in the cost are all meals beginning with Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch, lodging and Ranch activities. Horseback riding is an additional expense and can be purchased when registering.)
FINANCIAL AID: If needed, up to $34 in financial aid is available for youth 17 and under. When registering, you will have the opportunity to apply.
TRAVEL: Please plan to arrive at the A/U Ranches between 7-8pm on Friday, March 1. Departure on Sunday will be at 1pm.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If for some reason you need to cancel, you may do so up until Friday, February 8 with a $35 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after February 8.

Come Join Florida DB Chapters for a weekend of fun, sun, and inspiration! This popular family
event held at the Jetty Park beach and campground in Cape Canaveral, Florida includes a
2-night/3-day campout along the white sandy ocean front and the opportunity to take part in a
wide range of exciting recreational activities. Feel free to join us for any part of the weekend.
