Join us as we gather to celebrate the season of gratitude. Let’s celebrate Thanksgiving and pre-game for the main event with a Friendsgiving feast at the Browns’! The Brown Family will provide the turkey (veggie and meat options) and the trimmings, we invite friends to bring drinks, a side dish, salad, or dessert to share. We will be having a potluck style Thanksgiving meal, so please sign up to bring either a side dish, dessert, or drinks to share! The annual All Class Retreat (ACR) will be held this year at Principia College from Friday through Saturday, January 17-20. The retreat is planned for all NLC teens, parents, mentors, and class leaders. It is certain to be a busy and exciting weekend.

Explore the outdoors! Join DiscoveryBound teens (grades 7-12) in the Berkshires for two full days of inspiration, fun, and friendship. On Saturday, there’ll be skiing/snowboarding at Jiminy Peak for all levels from beginner to intermediate or snow tubing at Bousque. On Sunday, our very own DB Winter Olympics on Lake Pontoosuc. Stay in condos overlooking Jiminy Peak and enjoy an evening with an inspirational talk, huge indoor swimming pool and hot tub. There will be time for hanging out with friends – old and new. Most of all, it’s a chance for CS discussion with teens who think like you, with the support of an awesome team of chaperones coming to be with us… so don’t miss it!

SNOW TUBING AT NASHOBA VALLEY
When was the last time you went “tubing” with your family & Friends? Nashoba VAlley offers a perfect opportunity to spend a wonderful day of sliding! Individual runs for the novicce to the expert will thrill you! You will be transported up the hill on high tech lifts and away you’ll go.
Who: All Ages and Friends (minimum requirements are 42″ in height or 6 years old to participate)

Come join DiscoveryBound for a cozy weekend at the A/U Ranches! This is a wonderful opportunity to relax and have fun while enjoying the company of other Christian Scientists and friends of all ages. Take part in sledding, broom hockey, climbing in the Rock Gym, snowshoeing, games and cards in the lodge and much more. Or just bring a good book, sit by the fire and enjoy a mug of hot chocolate. Feel free to do as few or as many activities as you want, but come be a part of the fun!

WHERE: A/U Ranches, Buena Vista, CO
WHO: All Ages: This exciting weekend is for all ages. All youth must be accompanied by a parent/guardian – child care is not provided. It’s a special opportunity for everyone to spend time together. Families will be housed together.

COST: $99 per person (included in the cost are all meals beginning with Friday dinner through Sunday lunch, lodging, and most activities.)
FINANCIAL AID: If needed, up to $49 in financial aid is available for everyone. When registering, look for the link to the Financial Aid online form.
TRAVEL: Please plan to arrive at the A/U Ranches between 5-7pm on Friday, March 6. Departure on Sunday will be at 1pm. Transportation through DB is not provided.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If for some reason you need to cancel, you may do so up until Friday, February 14, 2020 with a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after February 14.
