Who: Teens entering 8th-12th grades and adults 20+.
Where: We’ll be staying at UCLA in northern Los Angeles. Address: 330 De Neve Drive Los Angeles, CA 90095
What: Teens will visit the Santa Monica Beach, Hollywood Walk of Fame, have a pool party, and enjoy workshops from actual industry professionals who are also Christian Scientists.
Adults will visit the Griffith Observatory, Walt Disney Concert Hall, and Walk of Fame.
Everyone will get to tour Warner Brothers Studios! You won’t want to miss this!
Early Bird: April 1st – June 30th Teens: $270 Adults: $450
Regular: July 1st – August 16th Teens: $300 Adults: $480
Need-based Financial Aid is available for teens up to $200 for registration costs and $300 for travel costs. Please fill out the form in your online account after you register to apply.

HIKE or BIKE on ANGEL ISLAND
This SATURDAY, Oct. 19
Meet at Tiburon Ferry at 9:45 AM (ferry leaves at 10:00) and every hour on the hour.
Ferry cost: $15 round trip
People can bring a bike on the ferry or rent a bike at the island. Bike rentals are $13.50/hour or $50/day. The main biking option is to ride around the perimeter on a paved loop.
Last time, most of the people hiked up Mt. Livermore, which is 800 feet. It was about a 2 hour hike up and an hour down.

From SACRAMENTO AREA: Sacramento-area people meet at 1st church parking lot at 8 am.
We can meet anyone in Davis at the Mace Boulevard Park and Ride at 8:30 am.

Come join DiscoveryBound for a cozy weekend at the A/U Ranches! This is a wonderful opportunity to relax and have fun while enjoying the company of other Christian Scientists and friends of all ages. Take part in sledding, broom hockey, climbing in the Rock Gym, snowshoeing, games and cards in the lodge and much more. Or just bring a good book, sit by the fire and enjoy a mug of hot chocolate. Feel free to do as few or as many activities as you want, but come be a part of the fun!

WHO: All Ages: This exciting weekend is for all ages. All youth must be accompanied by a parent/guardian – child care is not provided. It’s a special opportunity for everyone to spend time together. Families will be housed together.

COST: $99 per person (included in the cost are all meals beginning with Friday dinner through Sunday lunch, lodging, and most activities.)
FINANCIAL AID: If needed, up to $49 in financial aid is available for everyone. When registering, look for the link to the Financial Aid online form.
TRAVEL: Please plan to arrive at the A/U Ranches between 5-7pm on Friday, March 6. Departure on Sunday will be at 1pm. Transportation through DB is not provided.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If for some reason you need to cancel, you may do so up until Friday, February 14, 2020 with a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given after February 14.

Come join Florida DB chapters for a weekend of fun, sun, and inspiration! This annual popular event for all ages held at the Jetty Park beach and campground in Cape Canaveral, Florida include a 2-night/3-day campout along the white sandy ocean front and the opportunity to take part in a wide range of exciting recreational activities. If you are not a camper, there are hotels nearby or just come for the day. Feel free to join us for any part of the weekend.

Saturday Night Guest Speaker: Abraham McLaughlin, “Healing happens here: Celebrating the impact of Christian Science in our world today”. As Manager of The Christian Science Publishing Society, Abe oversees The Christian Science Monitor, Journal, Sentinel, Herald, and Quarterly. He began his career as a Monitor correspondent, reporting on the American Midwest from Chicago, the White House during the Sept. 11 attacks, and the continent of Africa. He and his wife, Jen, live in Boston with their two Jack Russell terriers.
