What: The Manatee Visiting Center is located at the Tampa Electric Power Plant in Apollo Beach, where the majority of manatees in
Tampa Bay go to stay warm in all this cold water. Right now, the lagoon is loaded with them to observe. There is an interactive
tank with stingrays where everyone is allowed to pet them, and a nature trail with an observation tower, with plenty of picnic
tables where we can join together for snacks and fellowship.
Where: Manatee Visiting Center, 6990 Dickman Rd., Apollo Beach, FL 33572 Exit 246 off I-75, due west right into the Center
