Welcome
This ongoing virtual affinity group is designed for educators who practice Christian Science. We connect as metaphysicians through an online platform, monthly forums, and an annual summit to strengthen our work in schools by sharing ideas, resources, and perspectives through a prayerful lens.
Who This Is For
This space is ideal for:
- Classroom teachers and support staff
- School administrators
- Christian Scientists working in non-profits that support education
What You’ll Receive
- Monthly hour-long virtual forums via Zoom
- Community connection space on our private social media platform
- Weekly inspirational posts related to a community-selected theme
- Occasional group reading studies
- Annual virtual summit (optional)
Schedule & Dates
Annual membership: August 1, 2025 – July 31, 2026
- Online forums: Last Sunday of every month, 4:00–5:00 PM ET
Fall Summit: November 7-8, 2025
- Theme: “Hold thy gaze to the light” (from the article “The Way” by Mary Baker Eddy, Miscellaneous Writings 1883-1896, pp. 355-359)
- Tentative schedule: Friday 8:00–9:30 PM ET, Saturday 12:00–5:00 PM ET

Cost
Membership for the 25/26 school year: free
- Membership year runs August 1, 2025 – July 31, 2026
- Includes membership to our private social media platform, email list, and monthly forums
Fall summit registration: $49
- November 7 (evening) and 8, 2025
- Includes access to fall summit and all related materials
Cancellation Policy – Fall Summit 2025
Cancellation Terms:
- Cancellations made on or before October 5, 2025 will be subject to a $25 cancellation fee.
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after October 5, 2025.
- All cancellation requests must be submitted via email to csec@discoverybound.org

- Joining the community is free for the 2025-2026 year
- On page 5 (“Additional Options”), check the CSEC 2025 Fall Summit box to register for the summit as well as the community itself if you’d like to register for the November 7-8 summit
- The summit costs $49 for the weekend
