DB Outreach Local Chapter: S. Central TX – Bike-a-Palooza!
Choose from a variety of biking activities based on your ability and interests. Enjoy a leisurely ride along a paved bike path; test your maneuvers on a paved pump track, zig/zag obstacle course, or unpaved mountain bike trails; and/or learn new biking skills.
Activities:
- Biking: rolling pump track, zig/zag skills course, Salado Creek Greenway (paved), mountain bike trails (unpaved)
- Bike lessons (how to ride without training wheels, mounting/dismounting)
- Bike maintenance (adjust seat, gears, brakes, handlebars)
- Decorate your bike (bring your own decorations)
- Pot-luck picnic
Who: Christian Scientists and their friends and families of all ages
When: Saturday, March 1st from 10:00-1:00 CT
Where: McAllister Park Trailhead & Pump track parking lot, Buckhorn Rd, San Antonio
Provided: Lemonade, water, desserts, paper goods & utensils
Bring: $3 each or $10 family, a lunch dish to share, and your bikes and helmets
