Calling all 7th-12th grade Christian Science teens and their friends of all faiths! Join teens from Texas and beyond in a scavenger hunt through the streets of Austin, TX! Jump in a car with your friends (driven by an adult chaperone), work together to decipher clues and follow leads that will take you to different sites in the city. The weekend will include games, an inspirational speaker, all-day road rally with photo ops, meeting new friends, hang time and Sunday School. Come join the fun!

Arrive on Friday, December 1 at 7:00pm, after dinner (at Hostelling International – Austin)
Depart on Sunday, December 3 at 1:30pm (from Asher House, Austin)

TRANSPORTATION:
Teens are responsible for their own transportation to and from the event, unless flying.

  • If flying
    Arrival: Friday, December 1: Fly into (AUS) between 3:00pm – 5:00pm CST.
    Departure: Sunday, December 3: Leave (AUS) after 4:30pm CST.
    A shuttle will be provided from the airport to Hostelling International – Austin, and take you back to the airport on Sunday.
  • If driving
    Arrival: Friday, December 1: Arrive at Hostelling International – Austin at 7:00pm, after dinner
    Departure: Sunday, December 3: From Asher House, Austin at 1:30pm

COST:
$80 – 7th – 12th graders and your friends
$10 Discount – Bring a friend new to DB and you both receive $10 off!

TEEN FINANCIAL AID:
Please don’t let the cost keep you from attending. If you need to apply for financial aid, you will have the opportunity to do so during your registration. Financial awards can be up to 1/2 of the registration fee and additional aid is available for those flying to the event, up to $150. If there is additional aid needed to attend the weekend, please contact us – we do not want finances to prevent you from attending.

If the financial aid amount you’ve been granted does not meet your financial needs for this event and you choose to cancel your registration, you need to notify DiscoveryBound Outreach within 48 hours of being notified of the amount granted. If cancelling, you will be refunded your deposit with the exception of a $20 cancellation fee.

After the 48 hours, if you need to cancel for any reason, you will need to return any financial aid amount you received towards travel costs. Refunds, less a $40 cancellation fee, will be given to participants cancelling by October 31, 2017. No refunds will be given after October 31.
