Event Speakers:
Keynote Speaker: Travis Thomas
Travis is a leadership speaker, mindset coach, and author who spends his time helping people show up with courage when things feel uncertain, uncomfortable, or high-pressure. His work is shaped by a mix of experiences – professional sports, improv comedy, and years of coaching leaders, teams and organizations.
For more than 20 years, Travis has worked with corporate teams, athletes, educators and community leaders, facilitating conversations about leadership, authenticity, and what it really takes to grow. A central theme in his work is challenging the idea that we need to feel confident before we act. Instead, Travis invites people to practice courage – learning how to move forward thoughtfully even when fear, doubt, or uncertainty are present.
Travis is the founder of Live Yes, And, a leadership and development practice inspired by the principles of improvisation. He is the author of two books, 3 Words for Getting Unstuck: Live Yes, And and Confidence is Overrated. For three years he served as the leadership and team dynamics coach for the US Men’s National Soccer Team and was on staff for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. In the years since, he has worked with FC Dallas and has spent the last five seasons with the Saint Louis University men’s soccer team. He has been a head coach and speaker for Limitless Minds for the past eight years as well.
In addition, Travis is now serving as a member of the Adventure Unlimited Board of Trustees and looks forward to learning alongside others while supporting the organization’s mission with curiosity, care and commitment. He has been a fan from afar, never having attended or worked with the organization, but is a parent to teens who participated in the DB National Leadership Council.
