Many adults today are looking for ways to help the children and teens in their lives thrive.
They understand this happens when students have a strong sense of their spiritual identity and purpose; a healthy approach to emotional wellbeing; less focus on materialism and social pressure; a strong, values-aligned community; and a whole-person education.
The DiscoveryBound National Leadership Council, a program of Adventure Unlimited, is hosting an intimate conversation that brings together representatives from Asher Student Foundation, The Link School, The Mother Church, Principia College, and Principia School to share what’s available to school-age students of Christian Science that can meet this need to thrive.
In recent years, each of these organizations has been listening closely to students and adapting to a changing landscape. Panelists will share how their work is evolving to meet students where they are today, including supporting their spiritual growth alongside academic and personal development.
This conversation is designed to offer insight and encouragement as you support the students in your life, whether as a parent, mentor, educator, or community member.
Panelists:
Sherry Squire, Executive Director, Asher Student Foundation
James Orlet, Executive Director, The Link School
Ariana Herlinger, Manager of Church Activities, The Mother Church
Dr. Meggan Madden, President, Principia College
Terry Grigsby, Head of School, Principia School
The session will be recorded for those unable to attend.
