With close to 30 Chapters across the United States, DiscoveryBound Outreach has the exciting opportunity to bring teens and adults together from all parts of the country! In addition to several Regional Seasonal Events each year, we host a National Annual Event as well.

What you can expect

  • The National Event will take place annually in late summer (often over Labor Day weekend).
  • A metaphysical theme will be the core focus.
  • The schedule will include a track devoted to teens, their interests and timely discussion topics.
  • Another track will be offered for adults. Chapter Workers, those interested in starting an Outreach Chapter, DB Ambassadors and all adults interested in DiscoveryBound are welcome to attend.

Alternate Program: Fall 2020 virtual & in-person Gatherings!

We have something special planned for teens and adults due to these unusual times and the need to change our plans for the National Event at CedarS Camps this year.

Each in-person event will be held on the same Saturday across the nation and activities will be unique to each location. Virtually, all ages can be inspired with a CS talk on Friday, September 18, 2020 to kick off the variety of activities being offered the following day! We hope you will join us and invite your friends!

DB Outreach National Event at Cedars Camps has been cancelled for 2020

After much discussion, evaluation, and humble prayer, we have decided to not proceed with the in-person event at this time. This was not an easy discussion for the DB Outreach and Compass team, and we spent many meetings evaluating our options, but ultimately, we feel this is the right decision. A few of the reasons behind this decision include concerns about travel, group lodging, large group gatherings, and the hindrance on the way we would want to run this event with regard to Christian Science.

We are so grateful for the support of the CedarS staff in making this decision. They understand this is a very different year for everyone, and fully support our reasoning. We are considering the possibility of partnering together for this event in an upcoming year. The Outreach team is already exploring other options for how to reach teens and adults this fall in a meaningful, fun, and inspiring way to take the place of the National Event this year.  We encourage you to check back here soon to see what kind of regional activities are available!
